THE 8TH ANNUAL BLACKBERRY AMATEUR is set to be contested on June 29-30, 2019 at the Blackberry Oaks Golf Club in Bristol,IL.
The field this year will close at 120 players, registration will be on a first-come first-serve basis, and registration will open on Feb. 1st.
Defending Champion Trey Tussey of Metamora IL, and a member of the Illinois State Redbirds golf team has verbally announced that he will return to defend his title.
The Chicago based Wilson Golf Company is the title sponsor for the event again this year.

“It shows a great commitment from Wilson Golf to support this event,” said Johansen. “We are proud to partner with them on this event, and helping grow the game of golf in the Chicagoland area. 2018 will mark the eighth year of our championship and we feel it will be the best yet.”
The winner will receive $750 dollars in merchandise credit, a trophy to keep and their name engraved on the championship trophy that’s displayed in the clubhouse at Blackberry Oaks.
